The Johnston County Commissioners want to know if the residents of Cleveland support a 4 cent property tax to create a Parks and Recreation Service District. The Commissioners will hear public opinion at two Community Meetings on February 21 and 25 at 7:00pm. Both Meetings will take place at the Cleveland High School. All supporters should attend and register ahead of time to speak at the microphone. We need to insure that the our overwhelming majority support is demonstrated numerically and vocally at these meetings if we want to see the District created opening the possibility for our proposed Central Park and future passive parks, athletic facilities, aquatic centers, and nature trails.
